Academic Advising for Current and Future Students

Academic Advisors are important in any degree program. We have advisors trained to help you get the courses you need for your path of study. Advising is critical for our students at New College because each student has their own custom, individualized degree plan. Our advisors know the degree requirements, the number and types of credits that can be transferred from other institutions or majors, and how many courses you still need to graduate. They are here to help you map out what you need to complete to receive your diploma.

Our advisors will meet with you in a way that fits into your life and schedule. Appointments can be made for meeting in Denton, by telephone, virtually, or at one of our locations in Collin County.

Appointments for all locations can be made using the Navigate App or Website or calling your specific advising location.
